Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Finance/ Accounts from any reputed University.
∎ CA or CMA (Part Qualified)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and execution of the Income Tax & VAT management system with a proper understanding of the business nature of the company.
∎ Ensure maintenance of all VAT related register as per New VAT & SD Act keeping record in NBR approved VAT software and own MS-Excel.
∎ Monitor and coordinate all the statutory compliance as per Income Tax Ordinance 1984, VAT & SD Act and other rules and regulations.
∎ Computation of Income-tax based on the company's financial statements and other information related to the tax return and guided by NBR directives.
∎ Ensure the submission of Income Tax return in due time.
∎ Attend the hearing and explain the position of the company before the DCT for the purpose of completion of the assessment.
∎ Monitor withholding tax management system following NBR's latest directives.
∎ Ensure VAT rebate papers (if any) and get them approved from the concerned VAT official.
∎ Handling of VAT audit conducted by VAT authorities.
∎ Maintain liaison and closely work with Tax & VAT circle offices and solve the barriers related to company Tax & VAT issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ 5 to 7 years in the related field in a large Corporate Group.
∎ Minimum 5 years Tax handling practical experience with NBR, Tax circle, Appellate Tribunal etc.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s). Accounting and VAT, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax).
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): FMCG, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax).
∎ ***WITHOUT PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN TAX & VAT NEED NOT TO APPLY.
Salary: Negotiable
