Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
∎ ITP and CA (CC).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle Group's all TAX matters independently
∎ Prepare & compile necessary documents for filing the company's tax return, withholding tax return & other necessary tax returns.
∎ Handling Individual TAX return of Company Directors.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory Corporate TAX Returns, VAT returns, and other related TAX and VAT returns/filings.
∎ Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including RJSC requirements, Income Tax, VAT, and all national laws of the country which will be applicable.
∎ Ensure compliance of TAX and related process and procedures.
∎ Corporate TAX planning of the company to minimize the effective rate.
∎ Identifying areas where the Group and businesses can reduce tax, make claims and increase profit.
∎ Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all the necessary taxes and VATs
∎ Recommends TAX and VAT strategies by researching all kind of related issues
∎ Oversee employee-related TAX deduction, employee-related company tax deductions return submission/filings.
∎ Guide & train to core team & general employees on tax issues.
∎ Maintain liasion with Tax & Vat offices and other regulatory bodies when required.
∎ Liaising with the Govt. TAX and VAT deduction and ensuring the same deposit to Govt. exchequer.
∎ Support in TAX planning for Group & JV Co.
∎ Plan for and develop overall return calender and co-ordinate, timing and inputs with the related items (TAX/VAT and finance & accounts team etc.)
∎ Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company TAX and VAT procedures.
∎ Regularly reviewing the application of TAX and VAT in the Group and its systems and making updates and improvements where necessary
∎ Ensuring that appropriate internal control is in place over accounting for tax and vat.
∎ Processing strong knowledge of TAX & VAT Law and Statutory Regulations
∎ Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
∎ Manage and facilitate Govt. Tax & VAT audits: preparing the response, creating schedules, etc.
∎ Provide support with various internal & external audits and special tax-related projects.
∎ Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections
∎ Manage and mentor members of the team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
∎ Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
∎ Subsidiaries and JV companies- support on all JV and subsidiaries companies tax & VAT matters and extend necessary supports for Joint Venture Companies (JV Cos) if requires.
