Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors to develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms and Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
∎ Maintain liaison (coordinate) with finance department and commercial department from initiation of purchase requisition up to delivery to stores to stakeholders.
∎ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility and maintaining long-term relationships.
∎ Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
∎ Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Maintain healthy relationship and liaison with various Government bodies.
∎ Properly and efficiently monitor the Inventory at all the locations.
∎ Adequate knowledge about L/C operation.
∎ Practical Experience on SCM SOP & Vendor Enlistment Policy.
