Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and target-oriented team player who can play a strong role and serve his duty independently as a Department Head.
∎ Job Location: Bhason, Kodda , Gazipur
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the quality of the garments
∎ Define high-level strategy and testing guidelines, including the establishment of all best practices. Facilitate management review to monitor performance and create/support process enhancement initiatives to drive continuous improvement
∎ Full responsibility for quality function within the location through the entire manufacturing process including incoming, in-process, finished goods inspection, and testing
∎ Validates quality processes by establishing Product specifications and quality attributes
∎ Strong team management skills and leadership ability to lead & motivate subordinates and Lead a team of QA, QC/Inspectors in the entire range of garment production to export procedures
∎ Determining operational and performance qualification
∎ Making an effective plan for quality assurance of the factory to ensure that the quality of the garments delivered to the buyers is 100% in line with their requirement
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspects of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards to Implement and improve Quality Policy, Plan, Manual, and SOP
∎ Collaborating with other departments of management to develop the product and training methods
∎ Conducts audits and monitors first article and first piece inspection and report
∎ Make sure that the quality personnel are aware of the quality requirement of the particular buyers and train them to maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes
∎ Develops and maintains quality assurance & QC/Inspectors objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Production Department
∎ Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product
∎ Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability
∎ Output review against the sample. Follow up first output garment measurement report
∎ Proficient in quantitative/statistical analysis/measurement of quality data for producing important reports detailing the identification of quality problems and be able to recommend solutions/ CAP (Corrective Action Plan)
∎ Taking necessary action or inform the authority If any discrepancies happens
∎ Need to finalize the critical operation, quality points and explain to Quality team
∎ Inline inspection findings should be discussed with respective Production, IE, QA & QC/Inspectors team to get the corrective actions
∎ Report any deviation in QA and QC/Inspectors system to the management
∎ Any other assignment given by the top management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years as a Department Head in Quality Assurance department in a well-reputed group of companies & or Brands.
∎ Must be ready to work extended hours for setting the desired quality standard in the initial stage.
∎ Need to handle all the buyers Q.C and inspection independently.
∎ Good written and verbal communication skill in English.
∎ Good Computer skills (e-mail, word, excel)
∎ Ability to work in a team with a strong focus on results.
∎ Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal relations.
∎ Preference will be given to the highly experienced person.
