Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage a team of lab technicians responsible for dyeing experiments and color matching.
∎ Develop and implement dyeing procedures and protocols to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
∎ Oversee the testing of dye formulations and evaluate their performance on various fabrics.
∎ Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new dye formulations and processes.
∎ Monitor and optimize dyeing parameters to achieve desired colorfastness, color consistency, and fabric quality.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the handling and disposal of chemicals.
∎ Maintain accurate records of dyeing experiments, formulations, and results.
∎ Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the dyeing process and implement corrective actions.
∎ Train and mentor lab technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
∎ Stay updated on the latest developments in dyeing technology and techniques.
