Educational Requirements:
∎ Chartered Accountant with Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
∎ Educational Qualification may be flexible for candidates with relevant functional experience.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and implement SOX readiness and annual review program in alignment with Group’s timeline
∎ Provide subject matter expertise for local management in the implementation and/ or improvements of internal controls over financial reporting under COSO Framework
∎ Coordinate and oversee the SOX activities related to internal controls documentation, testing, and monitoring for the overall cycles
∎ Lead, coordinate and monitor remediation actions for deficiencies identified
∎ Conduct specific training to fill compliance gaps related to the internal controls
∎ Manage, mentor and lead a team in executing the SOX compliance program
∎ Communicate regularly with HQ and Regional team for ongoing coordination and team collaboration for project delivery in alignment with Group’s requirement
∎ Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ At least 5 years experience, including 3 to 4 years of internal audit experience, preferably with a large company, or Big 4 assurance experience
∎ Strong ethics, integrity and accountability with ability to influence
∎ Meticulous, process-oriented, high agility to change
∎ Fluent and excellent English communication skills
∎ Ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbally and in written correspondence
∎ Proactive and positive attitude
∎ Highly developed analytical and organizational skills who believes in excellence and quality standards
∎ Ability to articulate and substantiate review findings with stakeholders
∎ Ability to work under minimal guidance, manage ambiguity, and prioritize and juggle multiple tasks
∎ Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and enjoys challenges
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio is a plus)
∎ Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
∎ Ability to travel to various locations in Bangladesh
