Job Summary:
The Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to community development, youth engagement, and volunteerism, and is seeking a dynamic Hub Coordinator for a project to drive positive change in the areas of socio-economic development and capacity building in Bangladesh through Youth development approach. This position will be based in the Rangpur Head Office under Rangpur Region. The strategic partners for the project are Department of Youth and Development (DYD), UCEP, CARE/ including other partners etc. “USAID Bijoyee project`` Is a comprehensive Initiative focused on empowering and engaging young people in Bangladesh. It aims to address various aspects of youth development, including education, skill building, employment, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and social inclusion as stated in project documents.
This Project is seeking for a highly organized and conversant development individual to join the DYDF team as a Manager Skill and Employment. The applicant who has experience with division and sector will get preference for youth. The Manager Skill and Employment, will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and coordination of the project and work collaborative approach with all engaged stakeholders. S/He will ensure its successful execution and timely completion of work under the guidance of UCEP and CARE Bangladesh. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a proven record of accomplishment of successfully managing complex projects.
The post holder will lead team for achieving having: 1) Promote equitable access to economic opportunities, 2) Strengthen youth leadership through targeted support of local youth-led and youth-serving organizations in order to promote youth participation as decision makers and key contributors to individual, household, community, and national well-being and 3) Strengthen youth systems, in partnership with youth, to provide more coordinated and effective services, practices, and policies that embody the principles of Positive Youth Development (PYD).
This position will be based in Rangpur Hub office. S/he will report to Hub Coordinator. S/he will be responsible for management of the hub office and quality implementation over the project period as per plan and budget with full accountability. Frequently, this position will participate and organize all relevant meetings of the organization and will maintain networking with different level stakeholders. This position will be responsible for supervision, monitoring of field implementation and maintaining functional relationship to HC. S/he will move to regularly and monitor area manager and support the mobilizer, trainer and others on organizing events and report to HC. From the DYDF head office the CEO and Program Director will make supportive supervision and monitor process forwarded support as necessary.
Responsibilities and Tasks :
Ensure that DYDF`s vision, purpose, and goals are met;
Spread awareness of DYDF values;
Assure that strategic plans and priorities are developed and implemented for DYDF and the team in accordance with organizational priorities.
Assured teams are aware of the organizational purpose of the DYDF and set goals and priorities for them.
Assume a pivotal role in fulfilling donor objectives and specifications while guaranteeing value for money. Lead business development initiatives by introducing various programs for professional, leadership, and skill development.
Ensure improvements to operational management systems and processes.
Ensure that sessions are documented for ongoing improvement.
Oversee curriculum design and development. Create project management systems, such as Work Breakdown Structure and Responsibility Matrix, to increase project efficiency.
Work together with varied teams to accomplish all project objectives.
Seek out outside funding sources and secure new projects for the organization. Forecast and budget projects and management
Work with partners and stakeholders, such as governmental bodies, nonprofits, and academic institutions, to broaden the scope and impact of DYDF
Manage the organization`s youth leadership events and programs, making sure they are well-run, interesting, and productive
Launch initiatives to build a strong alumni community.
Develop innovative and creative ideas of participatory training methods, including lesson planning and digital transformation for learning and development.
Collect feedback from participants and trainers to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
S/he will contract with training institutions/trainers for conduction of training and before a hand make all the training materials available.
Job fairs should be organized to create employment in consultation with UCEP and CARE following the allocated budget.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of HR roles and responsibilities based on extensive collaboration with different HR managers in conducting job fairs and establishing connections with young job seekers.
Any task delegated by the line manager/higher authority.
