Responsibilities & Context:

Akij Steel Mills Limited, (ASML), a unit of AkijBasjir Group, is seeking to recruit a Sales Manager with an engineering background to lead a sales team, drive revenue growth, and build customer relationships. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing the sales process, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ASML objective. Identify target markets and segments, and develop strategies to penetrate and expand customer base.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, attending trade shows, and building relationships with potential customers and consultants.

  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to project completion.

  • Coordinate with the engineering and design teams to ensure accurate and timely project quotations.

  • Review and negotiate sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Monitor sales activities, track sales metrics, and generate reports on sales performance.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
