  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in PPIC, production planning, or inventory control. Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry or other relevant manufacturing industries preferable.

  • Strong knowledge of PPIC, inventory management, and production scheduling.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent coordination and communication abilities.

Job Summary

The Manager – Product Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) will be responsible for end-to-end planning, scheduling, and inventory control to ensure timely production and shipment of export furniture orders. This role plays a critical part in balancing demand, capacity, and inventory while optimizing resources, lead time, and cost.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and control production schedules based on confirmed export orders, capacity, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with sales, merchandising, production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Develop material requirement planning (MRP) and ensure timely availability of raw materials, accessories, and components.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to minimize shortages, excess, and obsolescence.
  • Track production progress and proactively address delays or bottlenecks to meet shipment deadlines.
  • Prepare and maintain PPIC reports including production plans, inventory status, lead time, and capacity utilization.
  • Implement inventory control systems, policies, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with export timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with quality, warehouse, and shipping teams to align production output with export schedules.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
