Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have extensive knowledge and experience in the apparel labeling and print packaging industries
∎ Manage the product creation process from design handoff to production approval
∎ Should have excellent knowledge of costing and will be responsible for all item costing
∎ Grow and manage Product Developer, ensuring milestones are met and the product creation process is standardized across the category
∎ Manage multi-season development calendars and the execution of all tasks related to the Product
∎ Work with Sourcing on the allocation of bulk orders to appropriate suppliers through consideration of available capacity, capability, workmanship and costing
∎ Lead product solution development with teams to determine product requirements based on the needs of our client/customer
∎ Managing relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts, reviewing samples, and approving finished products
∎ Participating in meetings with engineering and design teams to discuss ongoing & upcoming products
∎ Reviewing products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
∎ Establishing timelines for each phase of the product development process, including prototyping and testing
∎ Evaluating new product ideas to determine feasibility and potential market demand
∎ Managing the budget and financial resources associated with each product development project
∎ Providing leadership, motivation, and guidance to a team of designers and engineers
∎ Making strategic decisions about design elements, materials, manufacturing methods, and other factors that affect a product's performance, safety, cost, and aesthetics
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Must be fluent in English
∎ Should have excellent performance in email communication
∎ Should have outstanding leadership qualities, strong interpersonal skills, and good communication skills
∎ Have sufficient knowledge to understand buyers' specifications and requirements.
∎ Excellent team player, independent, positive attitude, self-motivated and result oriented
∎ Must possess the ability to work under pressure
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, & Outlook
