Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Graduation, Post Graduation (B.Sc/M.Sc) in Agriculture with minimum 2nd division or class or equivalent GPA or CGPA in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise different types of trials & demonstrations of the own developed varieties or exotic varieties/products. Make a detail action plan for implementation of all activities in time.
∎ Ensure the supply of varieties/ products subjected to trial or demonstration. Assist Sector Specialist/s & Technical Assistant/s to execute target wise trial & demonstration providing lay-outs, information about varietal features, cultivation techniques etc.
∎ Conduct staff training & meeting; regular crop field visit and provide appropriate suggestion as and when needed. On the basis of field observation make a report & submit to Deputy General Manager and Product Managers.
∎ Make competitive analysis of the variety/product with its key competitors, identify/define product characteristics responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
∎ Keep update all official documents and send periodical report to the supervisor timely.
∎ Collecting different germplasms and contribute to the gene bank.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
