Job Context:

∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ The main purpose of the Manager, New Business Development is to support the process of raising funds for BRAC programs from both existing and potential bilateral donors, foundations, multilaterals and regional organisations. The Manager will be responsible for supporting the pro-active engagement with existing and potential donors and pursuing applications for funding from these donors. The Manager is expected to support the implementation of the OneBRAC Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Strategy, with a particular focus on intensification of funding streams from bilateral donors, foundations, multilaterals and regional organisations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supporting the implementation of the action plan for resource mobilisation with bilateral donors, foundations, multilaterals and regional organisations, in line with the OneBRAC Global Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Strategy.
∎ Supporting the execution of donor engagement strategies for potential and existing bilateral donors in collaboration with BRAC´s country and regional fundraising teams and BRAC affiliates.
∎ Supporting proposal development in collaboration with BRAC affiliates, country and regional teams, the GRP team, and relevant staff from Communications and other relevant teams.
∎ Responsible for the writing of tailored applications for funding and be responsible for responding to submission requirements.
∎ Supporting to the contribution to general information sharing on areas of responsibility within the GRP team, as well as towards BRAC's country and regional fundraising teams and BRAC affiliates.
∎ Qualifying identified prospects in the donor landscape analysis and finding the scopes of new funding opportunities.
∎ Supporting the outreach and cultivation of prospects to build trustful relationships in a proactive manner to secure income streams.
∎ Providing regular updates to the Senior Programme Manager Resource Mobilisation and New Business Development on progress and results within areas of responsibility and supporting the organization for the other relevant activities (meetings, events, etc).
∎ Developing internal stakeholder relationships, in particular within the GRP team and with BRAC's country and regional fundraising teams and BRAC affiliates to align funding needs and opportunities.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmes goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Identify the nature of incident and report according to the safeguarding reporting procedure; and encourage the staffs to report accordingly.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficiency in English required and fluency in an additional language, particularly French, or Arabic would be an added advantage.
∎ Skilled in MS Office, Outlook, MS Project and Visio, Cloud Computing (Google Drive and Dropbox).
∎ Workable understanding on the institutional fundraising market.
∎ Experienced in working with bilateral donors, foundations, multilaterals and/or regional organisations.
∎ Ability to multitask, work under pressure and must be a great team player.
∎ Understanding on donor mapping, scoping, profiling and/or donor engagement activities and experience in organizing relevant outreach efforts (meetings, events, other).
∎ Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and commitment to active citizenship, poverty eradication, global justice, social change, and gender equality Ability to work virtually in a global environment
