Job Purpose
We are looking for a Manager, Learning and Development to lead, mentor, and develop our team of facilitators, ensuring continuous enhancement of facilitation quality in line with BRAC’s strategic priorities. The role involves planning and delivering impactful training, supporting training needs assessments (TNAs) and module development, and fostering effective communication and coordination to ensure optimal deployment of facilitators.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and manage a wide range of training courses and advanced-level modules throughout the year, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development among facilitators
Initiate and implement innovative capacity development initiatives and maintain effective follow-ups, coaching and performance feedback mechanisms
Coordinate closely with the Module Development team, Training Scheduling Unit, and Operations team to maximize facilitator utilization and training delivery
Visit field-level programs to build a learning network, assess contextual needs, promote knowledge sharing, and generate comprehensive follow-up reports
Facilitate advanced training sessions and act as a resource person when required
Provide support to gather best practices, new training methods / processes from outside organization/industry and re-equip / update the facilitator accordingly with the changes.
Align Performance Management System (PMS) objectives with organizational strategies and support direct reports in setting and reviewing annual goals
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
