Experience:
Lead Export operation of the company: Take the responsibility of overall activities pertaining to export operations. Oversee business opportunities and accordingly set strategies for potential and existing export markets. Drive and motivate for establishing team-work within teammates and/or peer departments inside the company.
Business Communication:
Internal communication: With peer departments regarding ongoing export order(s), regulatory discussion, technical communication and timely follow-ups.
External communication: Negotiate products and prices with existing/ potential global buyers; search new buyers (online/offline) for new business development. Negotiate terms and conditions for various business agreements. Communicate logistics, vendors for consignment execution, material developments, and support other tasks as deemed necessary.
Business development: Search, explore, communicate to potential business entities for developing new business in zone and/or country. Negotiate terms and conditions and finalize business agreements to add new portfolio to the overall operation. Plan and execute different mechanisms to identify and promote business opportunities within capacity and suggest areas of improvements.
Financial activities: Prepare and finalize CAPEX/ OPEX budgets streamlined with the company’s main budget allocation. Negotiate consignment relevant documents with banks and/or relevant authorities; go through L/C terms (where applicable); coordinate with Accounts department to prepare set of documents for Export Cash-back policy. Conduct pricing for individual products per respective region/country’s business agreements from available cost-heads.
Consignment handling: Take responsibility to disseminate instructions to respective functional departments and/or external companies and follow up the progress. Coordinate the entire workflow started from commercial export order negotiations to consignment handover-to-port and guide individual departments that come in the process at different steps.
Regulatory activities: Collect, understand, and reciprocate all regulatory requirements from exporting country and convey the message to technical department(s) [e.g. QA, QC, PD, Production etc.] to help preparing and compiling documents in correct order.
Branding activities: Work closely with Design sections to build a theme of packaging materials for different products in different countries. Generate ideas for printed promotional materials (PPMs) and/or promotional banners, back drops as per buyers’ requirement. Arrange to develop technical presentations, individual product/training manual, Visual Aid-folders (VAFs) for overseas sales-force.
