Responsibilities & Context:
A manager in hospital management oversees the daily operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring efficient service delivery, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, store management, pharmacy management, patient care in the field, staff management, financial sustainability of the center, and optimal use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
Supervise daily hospital operations (OPD, IPD, emergency, diagnostics, eye camp, and cleaning).
Ensure smooth coordination between departments (doctors, nurses, admin, pharmacy, government health, and related departments).
Monitor patient flow and reduce waiting times.
Support the patient's operation facilities.
Support an IT-based patient management system.
2. Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and support staff.
Schedule shifts and manage workforce efficiency.
Resolve staff conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
3. Patient Care & Experience
Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
Handle patient complaints and feedback.
Implement quality improvement initiatives.
4. Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets.
Monitor expenses and optimize operational costs.
Oversee billing, insurance processing, and revenue cycle.
5. Compliance & Legal
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
Maintain proper documentation and accreditation standards.
Coordinate audits and inspections.
6. Strategic Planning
Develop policies and long-term growth strategies.
Implement new healthcare programs or technologies.
Analyze performance metrics and improve services.
7. Facility & Resource Management
Oversee maintenance of hospital infrastructure.
Ensure availability of medical equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
Logistic support to doctors and surgeons.
