Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (ERP, SAP, ITIL, CCNA, ISO 27001) will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT & ERP management within the garments/textile manufacturing industry.
  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and factory IT operations is mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, databases (SQL), and system integration.
  • Practical understanding of garments manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills in English & Bangla.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

To manage, maintain, and continuously improve the organization’s IT infrastructure and ERP systems to support garments manufacturing operations, ensure data accuracy, system availability, cybersecurity, and effective digital transformation across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP System Management

  • Implement, manage, and maintain ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or in-house ERP).
  • Ensure smooth ERP operation across departments including Merchandising, Production, HR & Payroll, Inventory, Accounts, and Compliance.
  • Customize ERP modules according to business requirements and buyer compliance needs.
  • Monitor data accuracy, system integration, and real-time reporting.

2. IT Infrastructure Management

  • Manage servers, networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
  • Ensure high system uptime, data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Oversee hardware (PCs, printers, biometric devices, barcode/RFID systems) procurement and maintenance.

3. Garments Production System Support

  • Support ERP modules related to cutting, sewing, finishing, washing, knitting, dyeing, and accessories.
  • Integrate production planning, efficiency monitoring, WIP tracking, and quality systems.
  • Ensure accurate real-time production and inventory data for management decision-making.

4. HR, Payroll & Attendance Systems

  • Manage biometric attendance, leave, payroll, and employee master data systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor law requirements in payroll and reporting.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and access control.

5. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

  • Implement IT security policies, firewall rules, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
  • Control user access, data permissions, and system audit trails.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer IT security requirements and internal policies.

6. Vendor & Project Management

  • Coordinate with ERP vendors, software developers, and IT service providers.
  • Manage ERP implementation, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies for automation and digitalization.

7. User Training & Support

  • Provide training to end-users on ERP and IT systems.
  • Maintain IT helpdesk support and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Develop user manuals and SOPs for IT and ERP processes.

8. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics for top management.
  • Maintain IT policies, SOPs, system documentation, and licenses.
  • Support internal and external audits related to IT and data systems.
