Experience
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in sales, preferably in manufacturing / garments / textiles / related industry.
At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Other Skills & Expertise
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with international buyers.
Sound knowledge of sales and marketing practices in the garments and textile export industry.
Excellent customer relationship management and buyer-handling capability.
Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective buyer communication.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced export environment.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive team performance and business growth.

Responsibilities & Context (Garments / Textile / Export Oriented)
Lead and manage overall sales and merchandising operations for export-oriented garments and textile business.
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve annual export targets.
Communicate daily with international buyers for merchandising activities, order follow-up, approvals, and coordination.
Prepare fabric, trims, and accessories consumption and complete booking sheets as per approved company formats.
Liaise with buyers for technical clarifications (fabric, fit, construction, quality standards) and ensure proper communication with concerned departments.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Sourcing, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely shipment.
Maintain professional sales email communication, identify issues proactively, and provide effective solutions to meet buyer expectations.
Identify new buyers, export markets, and business opportunities to expand the company’s global footprint.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing buyers and key accounts to ensure repeat business.
Assist in price negotiation, costing, terms, and conditions in coordination with the commercial team.
Monitor order status, production planning, inventory, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time and in-full shipments.
Prepare sales forecasts, order projections, budgets, and periodic performance reports for management.
Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales/merchandising team to achieve individual and team targets.
Maintain and update buyer and order databases with accurate and timely information.
Track sales performance, analyze data, and prepare self-action plans to improve efficiency and profitability.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and product developments to recommend improvements or new product ideas.
Prepare and deliver professional presentations of company products, capabilities, and compliance to existing and potential buyers.
Ensure high levels of buyer satisfaction by understanding client requirements and delivering consistent service quality.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management in line with business needs.
