Job Context:
∎ Location: Coxs Bazar Sadar, Coxs Bazar, Chattogram
∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ This position is responsible for facilitating gender mainstreaming and integration interventions of the project, as guided by the Gender Mainstreaming Lead.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate designing and implementation overall plan for Gender Mainstreaming and Disability Inclusion (GMDI) in the project.
∎ Analyze programme specific GMDI scope, priorities, risk and opportunities as required for implementation into the programmatic areas (SDP, UPGP, HCMP) of the project.
∎ Provide technical guidance to Project Lead to ensure GMDI in project.
∎ Design and Develop gender equality tools, frameworks, checklists and indicators to strengthen GMDI support in the project.
∎ Lead and systematize the process for GMDI technical skill development of programmatic areas (SDP, UPGP, HCMP) in the project.
∎ Analyze implementation progress of the Gender Mainstreaming interventions and ensure technical and strategic input for effective field operation in the project.
∎ Lead the process of dialogue and negotiation for establishing GM result tracking and progress reporting mechanism.
∎ Facilitate and coordinate with the Project Lead, management and project team for effective collaboration on GMDI.
∎ Lead and manage field operation team for GMDI by professional guidance, mentoring and motivation in challenging context.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years of working experience in relevant field
∎ Good understanding of the conceptual issues of Gender and Women empowerment;
∎ Good understanding of project management especially in Cox's Bazar context, both host and camp;
∎ Competencies on Gender analysis of programs, materials, policies;
∎ Experience in facilitating Training Needs Assessment (TNA);
∎ Experience in gender related materials (tools, guidelines etc.) development;
∎ Demonstrated management skills in a team oriented environment, problem solving and decision making;
∎ Budget preparation and expenditure tracking;
∎ Preference for those with experience in skills projects;
∎ Preference for those with work experience in and/or with donor agencies and UN organizations, especially GAC, ILO and UNHCR;
∎ Good command over both English and Bangla;
∎ Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
