∎ ·       M.Com/MBA in Accounting or Finance or ACCA/ACA or CA partly qualified is preferable.

∎ ·       3 to 5 years as a Manager-Finance & Accounts in Microfinance Programme

∎ Additional Requirements
∎ ·       Age, at most 45 years
∎ ·       Skills on reporting to the management.
∎ ·       Should have proven experience on preparing the financial statements including the statement of comprehensive income/profit and loss and assist to maintain the books of accounts, preparing report, and undertaking other finance and accounting-related activities.
∎ ·       Must have clear understanding of the government’s VAT and Tax policies; regulations and other relevant compliances of different authorities like MRA, PKSF and the authorities related to the Microfinance operation.
∎ ·       Basic knowledge on budget preparation and budget handling.
∎ ·       Good computer skill on MS Office and Internet applications.
∎ ·       Deep professional and technical understanding of the accounts and on their diversification, and the ways to adapt with the rules and regulations of the authorities.
∎ ·       Having a track record of establishing and managing finance and accounting systems, overseeing and working with the audits, and strong familiarity with Tally and Microfin 360 and with local regulations.
∎ ·       Understanding of national financial, accounting, banking and other relevant authority’s requirements.

∎ ·       The Manager-Finance & Accounts (MF) will be reportable to the Head of Finance of the organization.
∎ ·       S/he will remain responsible for managing finance & accounts functions of the Microfinance Programme.
∎ ·       S/he should be able to maintain good coordination and communication with the authorities involved with the operations of Microfinance Programme.
∎ ·       S/he will have to prepare the financial reports and oversee and work with the audits and accomplish the financial monitoring.
