Experience:

• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Finance, or related discipline. However, candidates with other academic backgrounds will also be considered if they have extensive relevant experience.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in commercial operations, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role (preferably in a garments industry).
• Retired Bankers with strong expertise in commercial operations will encourage to apply.
• Strong knowledge of import-export policies, customs act, bond rules, VAT, and banking procedures.
• Must have experience in incentives and should have experience of audit and Bangladesh Bank Liaison.
• Proven experience in dealing with government offices, banks, and international suppliers/ customers.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, analytical ability, and decision-making skills.

• Lead and oversee all commercial operations including import, export, banking, LC, and other job related to bond, VAT, customs, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage end-to-end processes of opening, negotiating, and settling Letters of Credit (LC) and TT transactions.
• Maintain liaison with banks, customs, EPB, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and timely submission of reports related to commercial activities.
• Oversee raw material procurement, HS code classification, and related commercial formalities.
• Monitor shipment schedules, clearing & forwarding (C&F) activities, and logistics arrangements.
• Optimize cost and ensure smooth commercial operations while adhering to company policies and government regulations.
• Lead and mentor the commercial team to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with supply chain, accounts, and production teams for efficient business operations.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on commercial performance, compliance, and risks.
• Any other task as assigned by the management.
