- Minimum 05 years working experience to procure Engineering & Mechanical item / equipment such as hardware and machinery parts, enabling companies to function efficiently and avoid operational interruptions. Candidate should have also experienced such as communicating equipment needs to suppliers, evaluating options, negotiating with suppliers, reviewing legal and contractual responsibilities, and facilitating communication between key parties.
Responsibilities & Context:
Understanding the technical data and specifications that a designer or technician requires
Communicating supplier for needs requirements
Evaluating supplier options
Negotiating with suppliers on points like price, schedule, quantity and packaging
Evaluating vendors and procurement strategies for efficiency and value
Reviewing legal and contractual responsibilities for both the supplier and the company
Facilitating communication between company stakeholders, managers and other team members regarding technical procurement
