Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure internal control over financial management in the field office with complete and accurate documentation and enable smooth programme implementation
∎ Monitor and control budget for projects
∎ Prepare donor report, monthly analytical report for the field management and donor
∎ Visit field offices to implement and design a good monitoring system
∎ Prepare Project chart of accounts and submit to Head Office Finance for opening in system
∎ Ensure smooth payment to staff, suppliers and partners according to the agreed deadline and compliance with the relevant policies, NGOAB rules and taxation rules
∎ Ensure bank and cash reconciliation and internal control for payment from bank and cash
∎ Manage the F&A team as deputy of Sr. Manager in a manner that empowers them to deliver high quality financial support to the organization
∎ As a member of BRAC Team, proactively provide high quality and effective support and resourcing services to staff of the organization
∎ Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the Humanitarian Crisis Management Project (HCMP) standard of accountability is conceptualized and effectively implemented throughout the organization,
∎ Maintain and comply BRAC Internal policy and HQ guidelines to implement smooth project operation
∎ Prepare financial report for the management and donor
∎ Prepare reports/ MIS for committed fund, fund utilization, fund received, expense burn rate, NGOAB approval & other related reporting of HCMP
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and also encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (Especially in MS Excel)
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
∎ Effective communication and presentation skills.
