Position Purpose
To ensure effective internal control, financial accuracy, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across the operations of Jamuna Group. The role is responsible for conducting financial and operational audits, identifying risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and Bangladesh regulations and recommending corrective actions to strengthen governance, transparency and accountability within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct financial, operational, inventory and compliance audits across the business units of Jamuna Group.
• Prepare audit plans and schedules based on operational risk assessment and management priorities.
• Review accounting records, vouchers, bills, invoices, purchase documents and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Verify inventory management processes including raw materials, yarn, fabrics, dyes, chemicals, finished goods and store operations.
• Audit procurement, production, sales, commercial and supply chain activities to identify irregularities and operational gaps.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend improvements to strengthen business processes.
• Monitor compliance with VAT, Tax, Labor Law, Company policies and other applicable regulations in Bangladesh.
• Identify fraud risks, financial discrepancies, misuse of assets and policy violations and report findings to management.
• Prepare audit reports with observations, risk analysis and practical recommendations for corrective action.
• Follow up audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive measures by concerned departments.
• Maintain audit documentation, working papers and audit evidence in an organized and confidential manner.
