Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters preferably in Social Science, Communications, Journalism, Media Relations, Business Administration or any relevant subject from recognised university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in developing a national level advocacy strategy for UPG programme and its implementation.
∎ Undertake activities to promote Graduation approach in national policy level discussion through various networking channels, organizing exchange visits, pilot programmes, national, sub-national and local level advocacy events.
∎ Stakeholders' awareness-raising through engagement and relationship-building with organizations working on extreme poverty through workshop, seminar, summit etc. and presenting Graduation approach in different forums.
∎ Design, plan and coordinate different advocacy campaigns.
∎ Facilitate hands-on learning for external and internal stakeholders through organizing exposure and immersion visits and providing technical assistance.
∎ Develop policy briefs, learning materials, concept notes, case studies etc.
∎ Assist in developing, writing, editing contents of flyer, brochure, leaflet, newsletter etc.
∎ Assist in managing UPG facebook workplace group and coordinate troubleshooting in workplace related matters.
∎ Coordinate and facilitate internal learning sessions for UPG staff on UPG national and global advocacy.
∎ Collaborate and coordinate with different departments of BRAC such as Advocacy for Social Change, BRAC Communications and UPGI to promote UPG programme as an evidence based extreme poverty eradication programme and increase its visibility.
∎ Ensure direct supervision of respective field level staffs. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in advocacy and knowledge management.
∎ Maintain liaison with other mainstreaming Programme of BRAC.
∎ Engage in any other relevant activities deemed necessary for the Programme.
