Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for inland lighter vessel operations (50+ fleet).

• Ensure accurate ERP-based accounting and timely MIS/reporting

• Monitor trip-wise profitability, billing, and receivables collection

• Control fleet expenses including repair & maintenance, dock, procurement, and bunker

• costs with regular stock verification.

• Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Income Tax, VAT, Companies Act, and other regulations

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.

• Conduct trip-wise cost analysis and implement cost control measures.

• Manage cash flow and working capital, including payables and receivables.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies for timely compliance and reporting

• Ensure BIWTC and vessel-related documentation compliance.

• Support management with financial insights and strategic decision-making.

• Manage supplier relationships and credit control
