Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Procurements and Supply Chain management
∎ Supervise and ensure the good respect of purchasing procedures for the whole mission
∎ Support and help the program teams to prepare procurement
∎ Supervise the identification and the referencing of suppliers
∎ Analyze purchase files
∎ Explore opportunities and enter into Long Term Supply Agreements to reduce procurement process time
∎ Ensure that all items procured meet appropriate quality standards
∎ 2. Fleet and Transport management
∎ Analyze the shipment and delivery of goods and materials up to their destination
∎ Support and manage the logistic officer in charge of the transport to improve his department
∎ Define and select transport means adapted to the project’s needs.
∎ Analyze the vehicles follow-up procedures and ensure that these procedures are correctly implemented and well documented.
∎ 3. Warehouse and Stock management:
∎ Analyze the management and monitoring of the mission’s stock, according to Tdh procedures and tools. Ensure that these procedures are known and implemented on the mission
∎ Analyze fluxes of merchandise, make sure that the goods received are conform and recorded
∎ Ensure that all the movement of goods are documented
∎ Supervise the production of stock reports and physical inventory on a regular basis
∎ 4. Equipment management
∎ Supervise the follow-up of all Tdh assets and equipment
∎ 5. Premises management
∎ Follow and management the functionate of premises (reparations, maintenance, work, etc)
∎ 6. Reporting
∎ Provide monthly report on current month’s activities and plans for coming month to Logistics
∎ Organize an efficient archive system
∎ Participate to the preparation of internal and external audits
∎ 7. Staffing and labour management
∎ Organize and supervising the work of his/her department
∎ Manage and supervise the logistics team in charge of the procurement, stock management, fleet, premises and IT
∎ Ensure training and give technical support on his/her team
∎ Make the appraisal on his/her team
∎ Leading and organizing weekly team meetings
∎ Organize the circulation of information within his/her team
∎ 8. Internal coordination
∎ Organizes and leads regular log team meeting.
∎ Participate in the financial and administrative management of his/her area of work
Additional Requirements:
∎ Other required skills:
∎ • English Language (Writing, speaking), Bengali
∎ • Motorcycle driving licence
∎ • Proficient in standard logistics
∎ Others:
∎ • Record of successful logistics management
∎ • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
∎ • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, negotiation and organisational skills
∎ • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Salary: Negotiable
