  • Age At most 40 years
  • Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience in livestock development or field-based livestock programs (experience with PKSF projects is an advantage).

  • Hands-on knowledge of livestock health, feeding, breeding, and disease management.

  • Ability to conduct field training and provide hands-on technical support.

  • Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel(field-based) frequently to project areas.



Responsibilities & Context:

HEED Bangladesh is a Non-Government and non-political National Organization working in the field of Health, Education and Economic Development for more than 50 (fifty) years. HEED Bangladesh, a Partner Organization of PKSF, is seeking qualified candidates for the “Livestock Officer” position for it’s Agriculture Unit (IAU). The position is contractual in nature.

  • Provide technical guidance on livestock rearing, breeding, feeding, vaccination and disease management.

  • Provide on-site technical assistance to farmers, entrepreneurs, and field staff and ensure proper implementation of PKSF-approved livestock initiatives and interventions.

  • Conduct training sessions, demonstrations, and awareness programs for staff and beneficiaries.

  • Regularly visit project areas to monitor livestock-related activities.

  • Provide on-site technical assistance to farmers, entrepreneurs, and field staffs.

  • Ensure proper implementation of PKSF-approved livestock initiatives and interventions.

  • Assist in diagnosing common livestock diseases and support vaccination, treatment and preventive measures.

  • Maintain coordination with local livestock offices, veterinary hospitals, and service providers.

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual activity plans and reports.

  • Maintain accurate data on livestock distribution, production, mortality, and field outcomes.

  • Report progress, challenges, and field findings to supervisors and project management.

  • Work closely with project staff and community groups to ensure effective program implementation.

  • Participate in review meetings, workshops, and coordination events as required.

  • Support any other livestock-related tasks assigned by project management or PKSF.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding guidelines, and project standards.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
