Experience:

• At least 5 years

• Master of Development Studies (MDS) in Development Studies
• Master of Social Science (MSS) in Social Science
• Master of Social Science (MSS) in Economics

• Master’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Science, or any relevant field.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO,Development Agency

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in implementing livelihood programs in NGO/INGO or development projects.

• Experience in working with marginalized communities and rural development.

• Proven skills in report writing, training facilitation, and team coordination.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong understanding of market systems and value chains.

• Computer proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.

• Ability to travel frequently to field areas.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Livelihood Expert to lead and support the design, implementation, and monitoring of livelihood interventions within our development project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development, income-generating activities, agriculture, vocational training, and market linkage facilitation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sustainable livelihood strategies for vulnerable communities.

• Conduct market assessments and identify income-generating opportunities.

• Facilitate skills development training, entrepreneurship, and micro-enterprise support.

• Collaborate with local stakeholders, community groups, and government bodies.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of livelihood programs and provide recommendations.

• Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation.
