Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in implementing livelihood programs in NGO/INGO or development projects.
Experience in working with marginalized communities and rural development.
Proven skills in report writing, training facilitation, and team coordination.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of market systems and value chains.
Computer proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.
Ability to travel frequently to field areas.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Livelihood Expert to lead and support the design, implementation, and monitoring of livelihood interventions within our development project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development, income-generating activities, agriculture, vocational training, and market linkage facilitation.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement sustainable livelihood strategies for vulnerable communities.
Conduct market assessments and identify income-generating opportunities.
Facilitate skills development training, entrepreneurship, and micro-enterprise support.
Collaborate with local stakeholders, community groups, and government bodies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of livelihood programs and provide recommendations.
Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation.
