Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social science or a related discipline. Relevant work experience may be considered instead of a degree.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in community engagement life skills, employability, or youth development programs.

• Familiarity with TVET approaches (CBT&A, WBL, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship training will be added advantage
• Experience in delivering training to diverse groups, especially disadvantaged youth and women.

• Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

• Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples` centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 422 upazilas under 56 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
• The Life Skills Trainer (LST) will play a crucial role in assisting individuals seeking employment to achieve their career goals under the ACCESS - Advancing Career Connections, Employment, and Skills for Success_GG12 project. S/he will be responsible for designing and delivering employability and life skills training to youth, women, and marginalized groups engaged in ACCESS project. Using a holistic approach, s/he will strengthen participants’ personal, social, and professional competencies that complement technical training ensuring graduates are confident, adaptable, and job-ready. The role will cover essential soft skills, workplace readiness, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience, aligned with competency-based training (CBT), work-based training (WBT), apprenticeships, dual training, and entrepreneurship training. S/He will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as business associations, community organizations, and local business groups, to identified best practices of employability skills. S/he will distribute time 80% in facilitating training and 20% in desk work and report directly to the project coordinator.

Job Responsibilities
A. Training Design & Delivery:
• Deliver structured life skills modules integrated with TVET training programs.
• Provide training on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, time management, financial literacy, and digital skills.
• Incorporate employability modules such as CV writing, interview techniques, workplace etiquette, and job search strategies.
• Adapt methodologies to different TVET approaches (CBT&A, WBT, dual training, apprenticeships, blended learning).
• Ensure inclusive delivery for women, youth, persons with disabilities, and climate-affected communities.
B. Learner Support & Coaching:
• Provide career guidance and motivational sessions to help trainees build confidence.
• Support youth in developing personal development plans.
• Offer one-to-one coaching for vulnerable trainees needing extra support.
C. Collaboration & Curriculum Development:
• Support the M&E Officer in monitoring the Quality Benchmark of the program in all deliverables.
• Work with training institutions, industry partners, and TVET trainers to integrate life skills into technical training.
• Contribute to developing and updating life skills curricula, ensuring relevance to labor market needs.
• Incorporate gender equality, social inclusion, and green skills perspectives into training materials.
D. Monitoring & Reporting:
• Assess participant progress through pre/post-training assessments and feedback tools.
• Document training delivery, participation, and outcomes for reporting purposes.
• Share best practices and innovative approaches for scaling life skills interventions.
E. Organization Development & Others & Risk Management:
