Job Context:
∎ A pioneer organisation engaged in prevention of disability, reduction of malnutrition and alleviation of poverty is seeking applications from competent candidates for PROSHANTI Project (a Prolapse Project in Bangladesh).
∎ Dhaka based but requires frequent project visits in 17 district facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the guidance of the Project Manager to: plan and implement of the PROSHANTI Project in 17 districts including two Government Medical College Hospitals as per project design.
∎ Maintain regular contacts with surgeons, clinics, local government officials, other sector actors, voluntary social organizations and beneficiaries of the project.
∎ Undertake regular project visit to monitor programme activities so that all goes as per project plan.
∎ Maintain regular liaison with Deputy Commissioner (DC)'s office and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO)'s office in 17 districts Project approval and fund clearance related matters.
∎ Attend monthly NGO Coordination Meeting at DC and UNO offices and submit project performance report to the DC/UNO officers.
∎ Regularly update database with detailed information of projects interventions, compile monthly data and document, lessons learned, etc.
∎ Undertake follow-up of operated patients to know their experience and satisfaction with the surgery and the surgeons through telephone or face to face interview.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual progress reports along with case studies.
∎ Attend various Workshops/Seminars as per need of the organization and project.
∎ Ensure administrative or technical support at project level as per organization and project need.
∎ Arrange all logistics support to donor/overseas visitors in Bangladesh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ 2-3 years working experience
∎ Should have excellent communication & coordination skills in English & Bengali
∎ Should be energetic and polite in manner with positive personality
∎ Should be efficient in computer operation and net browsing
∎ Must be self-motivated, target oriented and a self-starter and should have good presentation, interpersonal and networking skills.
