• The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in English or a relevant discipline with at least one First Class/A Grade in Honors and Master's level.

• The candidate must have an M.Phil./Equivalent degree in English or a relevant discipline with at least one First Class/A Grade in Honors and Master's level.

• The candidate must have a Bachelor (Honors) and Master's degree (Literature/Linguistics/Elt) in English with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (on a scale of 4.00) in both degrees.

• The candidate must have at least three (3) First Divisions/Classes/A Grades throughout the academic career.

Teesta University, Rangpur is looking for a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the Department of English.

The job responsibilities are as follows:

• To teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, ELT, and related areas.

• To participate actively in teaching using innovative pedagogical approaches and educational technologies.

• To develop and deliver course materials, lesson plans, assessments, and academic activities.

• To ensure students receive effective academic guidance and mentoring.

• To contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic administration.

• To participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and other scholarly activities.

• To perform any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
