Education:
The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in English or a relevant discipline with at least one First Class/A Grade in Honors and Master's level.
The candidate must have an M.Phil./Equivalent degree in English or a relevant discipline with at least one First Class/A Grade in Honors and Master's level.
The candidate must have a Bachelor (Honors) and Master's degree (Literature/Linguistics/Elt) in English with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (on a scale of 4.00) in both degrees.
The candidate must have at least three (3) First Divisions/Classes/A Grades throughout the academic career.
Lecturer: No experience required.
Assistant Professor:
For educational requirement (A), the candidate must have one (1) year of teaching experience with at least three (3) publications to his/her credit, of which one (1) must be as the first author.
OR
For educational requirement (B), the candidate must have two (2) years of teaching experience with at least three (3) publications to his/her credit, of which one (1) must be as the first author.
OR
For educational requirement (C), the candidate must have three (3) years of teaching experience with at least three (3) publications to his/her credit, of which one (1) must be as the first author.
Currently employed candidates must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.

Responsibilities & Context:
Teesta University, Rangpur is looking for a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the Department of English.
The job responsibilities are as follows:
To teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, ELT, and related areas.
To participate actively in teaching using innovative pedagogical approaches and educational technologies.
To develop and deliver course materials, lesson plans, assessments, and academic activities.
To ensure students receive effective academic guidance and mentoring.
To contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic administration.
To participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and other scholarly activities.
To perform any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
