Responsibilities & Context:
Lesson planning and preparation of daily, weekly, and yearly academic plans.
Classroom instruction in Physics, Chemistry and General Science following the National Curriculum.
Concept development through interactive, student-centered, and activity-based teaching methods.
Laboratory management and supervision of practical classes while ensuring safety standards.
Preparation of question papers, worksheets, assignments, and model tests.
Assessment and evaluation of students through class tests, practical exams, assignments, and terminal examinations.
Answer script checking and timely submission of marks and academic reports.
Academic support for slow learners through remedial classes and individual guidance.
Monitoring of students' academic progress, attendance, and classroom participation.
Maintenance of classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Participation in teacher meetings, workshops, professional development programs, and departmental activities.
Communication with parents regarding students' academic progress, behavior, and attendance.
Support for school examinations, invigilation, result preparation, and academic events.
Collaboration with colleagues and school management to achieve academic excellence.
Compliance with school policies, academic standards, and professional ethics.
Continuous professional development through training, workshops, and self-learning.
Performance of any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Principal or the Chairman.
