Education:
    • Master of Arts (MA) in Arabic, Islamic Studies
  • Master's degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.

  • Hafiz and/or graduates of reputed Islamic institutions with equivalent academic qualifications will receive preference.

  • Strong command of both Arabic and English is essential.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Arabic Language and/or Islamic Studies.

  • At least 2 years of academic leadership or departmental management experience in an English Medium or reputed educational institution will be preferred.

  • Sound knowledge of Cambridge and/or Pearson Edexcel curricula will be considered an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Department.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor an effective curriculum aligned with the school's vision and international academic standards.

  • Ensure high-quality teaching and learning through regular classroom observations, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

  • Provide academic leadership, professional guidance, and continuous support to teachers within the department.

  • Prepare annual academic plans, assessment strategies, and departmental reports.

  • Coordinate curriculum development, lesson planning, examinations, and assessment moderation.

  • Organize departmental meetings, teacher training, and professional development programs.

  • Promote students' moral, spiritual, and character development through Islamic education.

  • Ensure compliance with school policies, academic regulations, and quality assurance standards.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the School Management.
