Experience:
BA (Honors) and MA in Information Science and Library Management from any recognized University.
The candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
Practical experience in KOHA and Digital Library Systems should be mandatory.
Should have fluent communication and writing skill in English and excellent IT Knowledge including PPT presentation of meetings.
Excellent communication, collaborative, and interpersonal soft skills.
Must be experienced in reporting through email using Bangla and English.
Exceptionally qualified/experienced candidates will get preference.

Job Responsibilities
To manage library budgets and resources.
To be responsible for developing a library and information resources center supporting teaching, independent research, and learning in the university.
To ensure that library services meet the needs of users.
To develop IT facilities in the library.
To assist readers in using computer equipment, conducting literature searches, etc.
To promote the library's resources to users.
To collect and catalog library resources, including books, films, and publications.
To help people locate reference and leisure reading materials.
To maintain library records and ensure they are up to date.
To perform regular audits of the information and inventory on file.
To educate patrons on how to properly search for information using the library databases.
To manage, plan, and control employee activities.
To oversee the check-out process for books and other resource materials.
To clarify the use of library amenities and provide information about library policies.
To ensure the library meets the needs of precise groups of its users, including postgraduate students and disabled students.
