Educational Requirements:
∎ Three years Diploma in Medical Technology from any recognized institution. Any third division/ class in academic career will not be accepted.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ PLANNING:
∎ Participate in planning of laboratory set up;
∎ Participate in quality assurance planning of the laboratory;
∎ Plan and prepare annual and quarterly logistics requirements for the laboratory;
∎ Support preparing quality assurance tools and guidelines in line with the national guidelines.
∎ Support higher management in decision making.
∎ IMPLEMENTATION:
∎ Maintain essential safety measures for infection control in the laboratory;
∎ Maintain optimum standard in smearing and microscopy following the SOP and guidelines;
∎ Ensure maintenance of microscope and other laboratory equipments as per the SOP and guidelines;
∎ Ensure availability of anti-TB drugs, reagents and other logistics at the laboratory;
∎ Refer presumptive and complicated cases to designated facilities for further diagnosis;
∎ Support in EQA and slide-rechecking;
∎ Ensure hygienic disposal of waste materials;
∎ Conduct 4 outreach smearing centres at the field, in every month;
∎ Maintain contact tracing register for active case findings and refer presumptive cases to nearby diagnostic facility;
∎ Assist govt. MT (Lab.) at UHC lab, whenever necessary;
∎ Any other job as required by the project.
∎ MONITORING, SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION:
∎ Maintain regular coordination with related stakeholders;
∎ Periodic monitoring of the Laboratory (for EQA Technician);
∎ Check the randomized slides and provide the result as first controller (for EQA Technician).
∎ REPORTING AND DISSEMINATION:
∎ Record results in respective forms and registers and report promptly to the requesting staff;
∎ Ensure complete and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting as per the guidelines.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At lease 02 years experience in relevant field.
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skill;
∎ Good oral and written communication skill;
∎ Good eyesight to read microscopy;
∎ Willingness to conduct outreach smearing center at the field.

Salary: Tk. 18000 (Monthly)
