Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Test samples: Analyze blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids to determine cell count, drug levels, and blood type
∎ Operate equipment: Use microscopes, automated cell counters, and other laboratory equipment
∎ Record data: Enter test results into patient records
∎ Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Provide insights into patient conditions and contribute to treatment plans
∎ Maintain equipment: Ensure equipment is calibrated, sterilized, and in working condition
∎ Follow safety guidelines: Collect and handle samples to prevent contamination and ensure reliable results
∎ Stay up to date: Participate in training sessions and education programs to improve technical skills
∎ Adhere to ethical standards: Ensure patient information and laboratory records are secure and private
