Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology, Diploma in Pathology
∎ Diploma in the medical-related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 1 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Provide quality Laboratory services;
∎ Provide laboratory services for forcefully displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) in PHC and health post managed by the Joint Rohingya Response Program (JRRP).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze and interpret laboratory test results and submit reports;
∎ Liaise with ward management in the preparation of patients for laboratory tests;
∎ Advise Clinical Staff in the collection, handling, and transportation of specimens to the Laboratory;
∎ Requisition and account for laboratory materials and sundries;
∎ Maintain an inventory of the laboratory equipment and ensure their functionality;
∎ Enforce safety and quality control measures in the laboratory;
∎ Participate in other primary health care activities;
∎ Compile, analyze, and prepare performance reports for submission to relevant authorities;
∎ Support in carrying out research activities;
∎ Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written Bengali and English;
∎ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations;
∎ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public;
∎ A commitment to serving the poor and in full agreement with FH's foundation;
∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);
∎ High integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics;
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and/or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills;

∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
