Educational Requirements:
∎ College Diploma or equivalent in Administration studies.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direction of the Executive Chef or Executive sous Chef, and within the established limits of Renaissance Hotels Policies & Procedures, oversees and directs all administration of the Culinary Department.
∎ Handles the day to day administrative work of the departmental including but not limited to:
∎ Typing, email, fax. Telephone and filing.
∎ Establishes and maintains effective employee and inter-departmental working relationships.
∎ Communicates, coordinates, and cooperates with all other department and Section Heads.
∎ Handles or forwards inquiries from clients, suppliers, competitors and members of the community.
∎ Arranges Internal / external appointments for the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
∎ Controls ordering, stock and consumption of stationary, printed materials and office Supplies.
∎ Distributes and circulates memo, letters and other written communication.
∎ Translates all written documents and materials as required
∎ Keeps an updated Hotel Policies & Procedures file and updated files on all Food Production matters.
∎ Keeps pertinent information on department, hotel and national matters.
∎ Takes Minutes of departmental meetings as required.
∎ Maintains the Culinary Operations Office and practices good housekeeping within the office
∎ Keeps confidential Information strictly confidential at all times
∎ Ensures proper attendance records are kept for all Food Production and Stewarding employees.
∎ Ensure weekly timetables for Food Production and Stewarding employees are typed and distributed timorously to all outlets.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent command of English.
∎ Mature, flexible with strong desire to succeed.
