• Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• B.E/Diploma. (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Process/ Civil and Bachelor of Science) from a reputed institution.

• At least 20 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Cement Industry

• Experience: At least 20 years of experience in Kiln and Coal Mill operations.

• Working Experience in Integrated Cement Plant

• Working the Multinational Company will be an added advantage

• In depth knowledge on clinkerization process is must.

• Cross functional understanding of operation like quality control parameters, coal mill safety.

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC. (LHB) is a frontline building material company in Bangladesh, operating for more than two decades. It has one fully integrated cement plant and three grinding plants and it is a joint venture of Holcim and Molins. To support our new mill operation we are looking for competent persons for below position:

• This position shall be based in Surma Plant, Chhatak, Sunamganj and will report to the Head of Production.

• The job is open for both Bangladeshi and foreign nationals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance (field patrolling) and operations support of Cement Kiln and Coal mill (Vertical Mill) experience in the reputed Integrated Cement plant.

• Maintain all kinds of maintenance of kiln with coal grinding mill or Pet coke grinding mill in Cement Plant.

• Teach the existing maintenance shift based and general crew, shift production people on Kiln with Coal mill as a field specialists in a rotating shift.

• Train local teams to ensure the maintenance and operations workforce can independently manage equipment in the future.

• Familiarize and troubleshoot various types of equipment and process failure during the shift operation and guide shift manager to resolve / re-store normal plant operation specially coal / Petcoke handling, storage, trouble shooting at coal mill shop, coal feeding, coal firing system etc.

• Drive and assist in de-bottlenecking initiatives to enhance production output and overall plant efficiency.

• Lead investigations for plant stoppages through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively.

• Establish, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Coach, mentor, and develop CRO team members to strengthen operational capability and reliability.

• Conduct gap analysis for CCR operators, prepare training plans, and evaluate progress.

• Collaborate with quality control for process optimization.
