• B.E/Diploma. (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Process/ Civil and Bachelor of Science) from a reputed institution.

• Cement Kiln and Coal mill operation (Vertical Mill) experience in reputed Integrated Cement plant.

• Experience: At least 20 years of experience in Kiln and Coal Mill operation.

• Working Experience in Integrated Cement Plant

• Working at the Multinational Company in building material industry will be an added advantage

• In depth knowledge on clinkerization process and equipment is must.

• Highly experienced Kiln and coal mill operators who is having experience in Kiln and Coal mill operation.

• Ability to work in a team

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC. (LHB) is a frontline building material company in Bangladesh, operating for more than two decades. It has one fully integrated cement plant and three grinding plants and it is a joint venture of Holcim and Molins. To support our new mill operations we are looking for a competent person for the position below:

• This position shall be based in Surma Plant, Chhatak, Sunamganj and will report to the Head of Production.

• The job is open for both Bangladeshi and foreign nationals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate manpower and resources for routine and preventive maintenance, focusing on cost-effective operations.

• Train and mentor local CCR operators in kiln-coal mill operation and troubleshooting.

• Familiarize and troubleshoot various type of equipment and process failure during the shift operation and guide shift manager to resolve / re-store normal plant operation specially coal / Petcoke handling, storage, trouble shooting at coal mill shop, coal feeding, coal firing system etc.

• Operate Cement Kiln and Coal mill (Vertical Mill) in the Integrated Cement plant.

• Operate kiln with coal grinding mill or Pet coke grinding mill in Cement Plant.

• Maintain high safety and operational standards across all mechanical operations and facilities.

• Ensure compliance with statutory health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company HSE policies.

• Ensure clinker production targets are met while maintaining kiln performance and operational safety standards.

• Manage refractory planning, procurement, and application during kiln shutdowns, emphasizing efficiency and safety.

• Monitor plant performance metrics (energy use, refractory consumption, equipment efficiency) and implement continuous improvements.

• Collaborate with Quality Control to uphold product consistency and ensure process changes maintain quality standards.

• Provide technical guidance for mill operations, process optimization, and plant development projects.

• Promote sustainable environmental practices and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements across the plant.

• Conduct gap analysis for CCR operators, prepare training plans, and evaluate progress

• Ensure smooth and stable operation of kiln with coal mill.

• Contribute to the analysis of all the process parameters in Kiln and coal mill operation.
