Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have Bachelor of Science/ Master of Science in Agriculture with minimum CGPA 2.00 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any recognized institution.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make a basic survey on crop distribution patterns in the assigned territory.
∎ Ensure progressive farmer selection and supervise all on-farm evaluation trial experiments as well as a demonstration of the supplied varieties and different agro products (fertilizers, chemicals).
∎ Conduct survey for selecting suitable plots in the assigned territory for evaluation trial & setting up demonstration plots.
∎ Preparing Layout of the experiments, Providing modern technical knowhow to the respective farmers, and collecting feedback to providing support to develop new varieties/ products.
∎ Preparing an annual budget, ensuring authentic field-based data collection, taking time to time photographs, data analysis, reporting, and presentation. Also making recommendations.
∎ Participate in the dealer workshop and build relationships with seed dealers.
∎ Actively participate in the ‘Field Day’s and ‘Crop cutting’ functions organized by the marketing & sales division.
∎ Participate in the national & international training program and liaise with experts of public organizations.
∎ Ensure regular market survey and finding hot spots of the source of variety & varieties of desirable characteristics.
∎ Ensure the collection of up-to-date information about the competitive products of the market.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
