Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Graduate in any discipline with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations. (BSc/MS in Agriculture will preferable)
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Any professional course on Seed production will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Crop protection, Product Development
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make basic survey on crop distribution pattern in the assigned territory
∎ Ensure progressive farmer selection and supervise all on farm evaluation, trial experiments and demonstration of the supplied varieties and different Agro products (fertilizers, chemicals)
∎ Conduct survey for select suitable plots in the assigned territory; evaluate trial and set up demonstration plots
∎ Develop lay-out of the experiments, provide modern technical know-how to the respective farmers and collect feedback; provide support to develop new varieties/ products
∎ Prepare annual budget, ensure authentic field-based data collection, take time to time photographs, data analysis, report and presentation and make recommendations
∎ Participate dealer workshop and build relationship with seed dealers
∎ Attend 'Field Day's and 'Crop cutting' functions organized by marketing and sales division
∎ Maintain relationship with experts of public organisations; participate national and international training program
∎ Ensure regular market survey and find hot spots of the source of variety and varieties of desirable characteristics
∎ Keep up-to-date information about the competitive products of the market
∎ Develop the professionalism among the team through training
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Knowledge on adaptive research methodology, production process, seed and knowledge about other inputs, extension. vast idea on hybrid and O.P variety development, modern crop cultivation techniques, off season crop cultivation etc.
∎ Excellent in work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
∎ Must have Communication, analytical ability, problem solving and report writing skill
∎ Must have using capabilities of MS Office
∎ Able to work under stress situation
