Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have B.Sc (Hon's) in Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Horticulture / Entomology and Plant Pathology/ Genetics and Pant Breeding/ Agroforestry/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Economics with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations

∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise 80-120 acres hybrid rice seed production land during Boro season and Aman seed production blocks.
∎ Guide to select target wise suitable land/block; prepare layout and collect soil sample
∎ Conduct farmer’s training and meeting, select farmer’s representatives
∎ Visit crop field and randomly observe 20% of plots which is visited by TA and provide appropriate suggestion. On the basis of filed observation make a report and submit to management
∎ Ensure 98% genetic purity of produced seedlings, proper rouging, isolation, R line transplanting in boarder area of seed plot as well as maintain seed standard
∎ Monitor GA3 dose selection, supplementary pollination activities and other ongoing activities
∎ Make a schedule for seed harvesting, threshing, drying; ensure 100 % rouging and check the threshing floor and its quality
∎ Keep update all official documents and monthly report sent to the supervisor timely
∎ Act as a mentor to identify the development area of the team; make succession plan through coaching, training, counseling and feedback
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management

∎ Must have the ability to work under pressure
