Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have B.Sc (Hon's) in Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Horticulture/ Crop Botany/ Agricultural Chemistry/ Agricultural Extension/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Seed Technology/ Genetics & Pant Breeding with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare yearly budget, action plan and execute it accordingly
∎ Produce on time robust seedlings and ensure minimum 98 % genetic purity, diseases and black spot free seeds
∎ Guide to select suitable rice seed production block and supply quality inputs according to demand and ensure the utilisation
∎ Ensure transplant within 7 to 10 days, plant quality, GA3 dose selection for 40-50 acres land, farmers training before transplanting and GA3 application
∎ Check all kinds of documents during the field visit
∎ Monitor supplementary pollination activities and other ongoing activities
∎ Make a schedule for seed harvesting, threshing, drying; ensure 100 % rouging and check the threshing floor and its quality
∎ Check the seeds sample before weighing to avoid admixture
∎ Update all documents according to the supplied register and format on time
∎ Act as a mentor to identify the development area of the team; make succession plan through coaching, training, counseling and feedback
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management

∎ Must have the skill of multitasking
∎ Must have the ability to work under pressure
