Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Graduate/ Masters in Entomology with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct trials on bio-pesticides, fertilizer and PGR in the fields
∎ Collect data and analyse the data obtained from the trials
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and research institutions
∎ Communicate the results of the trials to the Portfolio Manager and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Ensure that the trials are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards
∎ Identify new opportunities for bio-pesticide trials in different crops and regions of Bangladesh
∎ Develop trial protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for conducting trials
∎ Conduct research on the efficacy of different bio-pesticides and making recommendations for their use in different crops
∎ Make report and share with supervisor time to time
∎ Act as a mentor to identify the development area of the team; make succession plan through coaching, training, counseling and feedback
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates
∎ Experience in same field will be given preference
∎ Knowledge in pesticide registration process, Fertilizer registration process, crop pest and disease management, financial management and administrative work knowledge
∎ Must have the skill of multitasking, good communication, problem solving, repost writing
∎ Excellent in report writing, budgeting, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
