∎ 2-3 years’ merchandising experience preferably in a reputed buying office in Sports Shoes category
∎ Sound understanding of sourcing, costing, as well as technical knowledge on footwear (synthetic) and production processes will be an added advantage

∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection

∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the execution and follow up on each step of process for Sports Shoes manufacturing
∎ Support in the preparation of the QA files to hand it over on time for both buyer and QA
∎ Execute steps in the merchandising cycle (File / Record keeping / Sampling / TNAs / QA file making / Production follow ups / Shipment booking)
∎ Coordinate and monitor quality of the products manufactured from protos, fit & pp sample stage to final inspection through quality personnel
∎ Study enquiry received with senior merchant
∎ Study tech packs thoroughly
∎ Prepare costing sheets with all the necessary breakdowns from factories
∎ Ensure smooth communication with customers and suppliers on day-to-day merchandising activities and approvals
∎ Help Ensure the quality of all imported raw material such as PU, mesh and others
∎ Check and reconfirm accuracy of samples prior to dispatch to office / customer tech to ensure first time approval
∎ Manage a smooth and workable time and action plan with the customer
∎ Manage a smooth workable relationship with current factories to ensure smooth execution of orders as well as source and develop newer factory base
∎ Follow-up TNA on regular basis to ensure on-time delivery with right quality and quantity
∎ Visit factories regularly to get market intelligence
∎ Ensure and monitor shipment of the product
