Job Context:
∎ The Associate works closely with senior members of the legal team to conduct research and to gather information to properly advise clients, prepares legal documents and provides work progress updates to senior team members.

∎ Junior Lawyer and can be a fresh graduate

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performs legal research and provides support activities to assist Senior Associates / Counsels and Partners.
∎ Prepares draft documents and legal advice for the senior members of the team: including correspondence, documents and/or presentations, contracts, letters, advice memos, legal opinions, and other legal instruments.
∎ Assists other team members in translating legal or related documents.
∎ Participates actively in the Firm's business development efforts: supporting senior members of the team to produce marketing material including proposals, legal updates, articles and presentations.
∎ Participates in the team's professional development: supporting senior members of the team to put together presentations on specific matters to develop professional skills for the team.
∎ Instruct legal assistants and interns on routine activities to support the team.
∎ Undertake all activities as assigned by senior members of the team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 21 to 30 years
∎ A. Drafting: ability to draft letters and documents with a logical structure, accuracy and correct grammar. Proofreads all work-product before circulation; minimizes technical and spelling errors.
∎ B. Knowledge of law and research skills: each associate is expected to know requirements of major laws and regulations applicable to the areas of his or her practice. Associate shall be able to conduct effective research and being able to identify what is relevant and to concisely communicate analysis, relevance and conclusions. Shall seek to constantly develop legal knowledge and research skills as well as keep other team members informed about legislative developments.
∎ C. Translation work: accurately completes translation work and supports other team members in translation needs.
∎ D. Meeting deadlines: able to develop professional organization and time management skills to meet workload and deadline expectations; constantly maintains an up-to-date list of on-going tasks;
∎ E. Accountability: takes responsibility for own work, does not offload their duties. The employee does not require constant reminders of what he / she is expected to complete and gets things done. Confronts and addresses mistakes, and does not ignore them.
∎ F. Initiative and aspiration to grow and develop: shall be pro-active. Shall identify issues and opportunities, take positive action without being asked, show readiness to take on more responsibilities and to advance their career.
∎ G. Personal commitment and professionalism: devote their time and attention to the performance of their duties. Relentlessly responsive to clients' needs. Follows the Firm's dress code. Conducts themselves in a professional manner when interacting with colleagues and clients both during and outside of working hours
