Job Context
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Officer to join our finance team at Hotel Kollol by J&Z Group. The position will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain daily financial records, vouchers, and ledgers in compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, invoices, and expense reports.
Monitor accounts receivable (guest bills, events, catering) and accounts payable (suppliers, vendors).
Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
Assist in payroll preparation and staff expense reimbursement.
Reconcile bank statements and cash balances on a regular basis.
Ensure timely bill collection and proper recording of payments.
Prepare basic financial reports and share with the Accounts Manager.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit and internal review.
Coordinate with the hotel’s front office and F&B team regarding billing and revenue records.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to finance and accounts.
