Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Financial Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the restaurant.Record daily financial transactions, including sales, Purchase expenses, and payroll.
∎ Accounts Payable and Receivable:Process and manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments.Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers.
∎ Bank Reconciliation:Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
∎ Payroll Support:Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.Maintain payroll records and handle payroll-related queries.
∎ Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
∎ Expense Management:Monitor and control restaurant expenses, ensuring adherence to budget.Identify cost-saving opportunities and report findings to management.
∎ Compliance and Auditing:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
∎ General Ledger Maintenance:Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
∎ Support and Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.Provide support and assistance to the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager as needed.
